SyFy has been been knocking it out of the park with its series. We discuss the Magicians and the new slated series, Deadly Class. We talk about the subversive nature of both shows; The Magicians subversion of fantasy tropes and Deadly Class’ subversion of the coming of age tale. This leads us to review Deadpool 2. We start with our general impressions and dive deep in the acting, plot, and how it stands up to the first film. We compare the story arc to the comic books and predict the direction X-Force will take. Finally we discuss Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox and what this means for the X-Men/Deadpool universe.
