9/11 and Rohingya

In this episode we put on our political nerd hats and dive into some serious conversation, but first start off with our usual banter which involves a debate about whether you can claim to have visited a state if you had a layover in it’s airport. We then discuss the anniversary of September 11th and the consequences of that fateful day. We recall where each of us were on that day and our feelings. We talk about the path the country has taken since then and the ongoing state of war we live in. This leads us to talk about the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar. We talk about the origins of the crisis, the recent news coverage, and the realities of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
